This Puerto Vallarta Resort is perfect for culture research families

Waves decomposing on a rugged coast, birds singing in synchrony and the rumble of traffic from a mountain road all mix in a remarkably lyrical way. This is the soundtrack of the Hilton Vallarta Riviera seaside resort.

The property is not designed for those who want to stay within the limits of their complex for a week. He is the one who plunges culture researchers into the lifestyle of Puerto Vallarta. For a city whose number one economy is tourism, it is always a flourishing residential community – a crucible of Mexican citizens who have moved there from different states. You can see it as soon as you get out of the main entrance and explore it in the city center, less than 20 minutes by car.

More deeply in the mountains, the Huichol Indians reside as one of the last Aboriginal tribes remaining in the world. Their presence and influence on the culture of Puerto Vallarta are obvious in the work of traditional art sprinkled throughout the city.

My husband and I prefer to visit places that allow us and our children to see, feel and taste the local culture. After spending four days in Hilton Vallarta Riviera, I look forward to the day I can come back with them and live more city.

Puerto Vallarta has a low crime rate, and his local government has committed to keeping the city clean and safe, making it a particularly attractive destination for families with younger children. A relaxed walk, cheerful squares, streets full of character and well-maintained green spaces, including a sprawling children’s garden with a playground are just some of its prints. Beyond the city, the state of Jalisco is dotted with perfect and perfect colonial cities that make excursions of a fun day.

Here are seven ways in which Hilton Vallarta Riviera understood everything the all -inclusive complex keep happy children, parents and peacekeepers, and everyone in the family linked to local culture.

1. The Kids’ Club aims to educate and inspire children.

Children who visit the children’s corner of Hilton Vallarta Riviera have a free reign of a space that signals an imaginary game and creativity. Where it really shines, however, is in the programming that instills local culture in a way that excites them through learning.

Crafts are more consciously organized and includes the possibility for young people to create their own version of a Huichol symbolic Indian ornament. Many materials are also recycled from the property – Think that box cutouts are used as canvases and boxes stuck on paper for three -dimensional artistic projects.

Spanish lessons, chef’s mini-class such as the manufacture of pizzas and special experiences at La Picniques and campsite on the beach (no night) with Semores are other ways in which the station goes beyond for children.

The children’s corner is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with time slots reserved for different age groups. Children must be between four and 12 years old. Babies and toddlers under the age of four are invited to play in space with their parents or guards during certain hours.

2. A private protected beach and a dedicated family swimming pool are preparing for the sun.

The rocky formations right next to the beach form natural lagoon style pools with calm water ideal for swimming. Families can rent floats, life vests or kayaks if they feel more adventurous – all for free. Diving equipment with snorkel and other items such as water shoes and pool toys are available for purchase at the station’s gift shop.

Two pools by the sea by the sea, infinite style, include a dedicated to families. (The other is a pool reserved for adults with a swimming bar.) A few steps away, food trucks facilitate the taking of a quick bite without having to dry and enter. For families who want a little privacy, huts are available for rental.

The Beach Club, a sandy space adjacent to the pool terrace, has a climbing wall for children and a lot of space for other activities. I liked to watch a father and his son playing a game of catch while the sun rose on the mountains, and the families make walks disconnected on a path along the edge of the water.

3. Housing in the enclave offer great value to families.

When families reserve a higher level room in the station enclave, they obtain advantages that could prove to be invaluable for families, especially with young children. Among them are private recording and payment and a dedicated living room which serves breakfast and snacks all day.

The living room itself is a scanning space with some of the best views of the property. The other enclave advantages include the concierge service, which can help you go to the city center and plan other activities; Premium drinks from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Wi-Fi Premium; an improved mini bar; And a welcome bag and a bag of memories.

Although the individual rooms do not sleep more than four, the connection options facilitate the creation of a larger space for families who need it. The packaging and games are available on request.

4. For a break in the heat, the family lounge is the ultimate interior meeting place.

From noon to 10 p.m., the El Rincon family fair is aimed at all ages with a variety of games such as aerial hockey, ping-pong, swimming pool and table football. There is even a video game corner with player pods.

A snack counter in the living room includes a ice cream bar, a pancake station and other snacks, including cookies, popcorn and candies. Make sure you try some of the local candies offered.

5. Restaurants are aimed at difficult eaters with single dishes and children’s menus.

Seven restaurants serve a variety of kitchens for different desires. Among them are the Luce (Italian), Maxal (Mexican), Sunan (Asian), Cocomar (seafood) and Sunan Sushi.

I found that many available dishes are quite simple, such as pizza and pasta, some with a Mexican touch, at the Italian restaurant. Do not worry, adventurous eaters: there are still many inventive, local and international options to satisfy your delicacy.

Families may find that their children would like something in the ordinary menu. However, children’s menus with more basic options are available for eaters more pickers. The hotel is also able to accommodate different food restrictions and let them know in advance always helps.

6. Private experiences are the “hidden” talent of the property and ideal for celebrating special occasions.

From outdoor meals set up as something directly from Pinterest, in cooking and painting lessons, Hilton Vallarta Riviera offers the possibility of reserving private experiences which can be adapted to different needs. They are an option worthy of follies for families celebrating special occasions, or for those who want to take advantage of culture and the environment in an intimate manner.

The Beach Club, which has a clear view of the Bahia de Banderas and the mountains in the distance, prepares the way for Boho style breakfasts and dinners at sunset under string lights and stars. (This is also where families can participate in yoga and sound bath meditation courses included as part of the station’s well-being program.)

Couples or families with older children can also participate in cooking lessons and demos, such as an ceviche manufacturing course. Those who stay in enclave accommodation also have access to their own private experiences, including a Mexican style paella demo and a meal with a range of tapas.

Note: although Beach Club meals can be reserved at any time, other experiences are only offered on specific days.
