My favorite European coolings: Copenhagen, London and Dublin

When I lived in Rome, I never got used to the stifling summer heat. I come from New York, where July and August shatters, but The summer of southern Europe was a different ball game. Like most apartments in the eternal city, ours did not have air conditioning. Regardless of the number of fans who were blowing or the eaten gelatos, I always dreamed of igloos and ice cubes. While beauty and Sweet Life Rome’s lifestyle was bewitching, summer looked like Dante’s hell.

Since then, I have been a fan of cooling, destinations with crisp summer temperatures that act like a springboard for outdoor activity. Copenhagen, London and Dublin are three of my favorite Beat-Heat cities, whether I am on European vacation with my children or without.

Although climate change has affected northern Europe, often bringing hot summer temperatures, you will always have to pack a sweatshirt. Need a respite from the summer burn? Let me tell you more about the cooling trend.

If you travel with younger children, keep in mind that the city is home to 125 public playgrounds, which argues that the game is a serious business in the Danish capital.

London’s famous time often takes a vacation in summer, when the sky reaches blue but the temperatures remain comfortable. The inhabitants and tourists take advantage of the good weather to enjoy the beautiful parks, projections of outdoor films and theatrical outdoor productions.

My family and I spent some of the best sums in our lives in London, one of the cities most suited to children in the world. Whatever your age, you could spend a life in London while finding new things to do.

A visit to Royal Botanic Gardens Kew looks like a day in the countryside, although it is only a 30 -minute round on the tube in the center of London. With 37 acres of wood, a garden for children and a pollination path, there is a lot of room to feel the roses. Afterwards, stop for tea on Kew Road to The Original Maids of Honor, which serves classic cakes, traditional pies and butter cookies that would not be moved The great Briton cooked.
